This application allows the user to calculate percent deflection in buried flexible pipe utilizing the Modified Iowa Equation. This equation has been used since the late 1950’s to accurately calculate expected maximum deflections. The application allows the user to choose each of the input variables based upon specific known conditions and also offers the option of selecting inputs from recommended values.
